For Immediate Release · 2026 Best of Texas
THE COLONY, TEXAS. Elate Orthodontics has been named a 2026 Best of Texas winner in the Orthodontic Practices category by Guide to Texas. The award went to the practice’s office in The Colony on Hwy 121. Best of Texas is the highest of the program’s tiers, and five orthodontic practices across Texas received it this year.
How Best of Texas winners are chosen
The awards are decided by public voting. Voting for 2026 closed on August 31, and results were posted October 1. Guide to Texas has an editorial and compliance team review the votes for validity, then checks that each winning business is in good standing before it’s listed.
There are two tiers. Best of Texas goes to the businesses with the most votes in their category statewide. Best of Texas Regional recognizes strong regional finishers. There’s no fee to be on the ballot or to win, so nothing about the result was bought.
The full 2026 Dental & Orthodontics results are on the Guide to Texas website, and winners will also appear in the Best of Texas print annual in November.
“This one came from votes, not a panel. So it belongs to our patients and their parents more than it belongs to us. We’re grateful that so many of them took the time.”
Dr. Kevin Baharvand, DMD, MS, co-founder of Elate Orthodontics
