5 cases at Elate Orthodontics

Impacted Teeth Before and After Photos

5 impacted teeth cases treated at our Frisco and The Colony offices: 3 with braces.

An impacted tooth is one that's stuck below the gum or headed in the wrong direction. Upper canines are the most common example. They're the last front teeth to come in, and they travel the longest path to get there. Sometimes one gets stuck in the bone or heads in at the wrong angle.

Caught early on an X-ray, removing a baby tooth at the right time can let some of them come in on their own. Others need an oral surgeon to uncover the tooth and attach a small bracket, then braces guide it into place.
